Katerina Panagiotopoulou
Born in Thessaloniki, Hellas in 1959
Already as a child i had a very strong connection with the natural world, and enjoyed spending my days on the trees, swimming or cycling. On the other hand, Thessaloniki in the winter months and school was a numbness and lack of life or meaning.
A twist of fate to do with my ambitious mother send me to America as an exchange student when i was 16, which opened the door out of the oppressive school system.
In the year of 1976 i finished high school in Oklahoma and came back to Hellas with a great curiosity for life and the world. There was magic buses to India in Thessaloniki, we lived next to a hotel, and there were all kind of colors and perfumes in these buses. Before long i joined the journey to the east, in search of a natural human being that i knew was possible, the humanity i felt in myself. Travelling overland i witnessed the incredible diversity of human form and culture. In 1978 many of these places were untouched by the sameness that was to descent on them soon after. Actually, I was one of the factors that disturbed these ecosystems, sadly, no matter how much i love the diversity of natural world. My explorations led me to London studying art and later to Tao house following a calling to study 5 element acupuncture. The 5 elements are the basic grid of life, their healing dimension find in all mystical traditions, like the 4 winds of shamanism and geomancy, or the 4 movement in physics. Acupuncture is for me spirituality at work, as i need to practice my meditation in life. I was lucky to be trained by the best teachers who could help people thrive in their lives, as well as removing pain and viruses. So NLP the arts of human development, and Tibetan Buddhism, the Diamond approach, Herbal medicine, it is all moving to fulfill human potential. To come home, to find back roots, to express love in unexpected ways, to finally be the solution to the global crisis we have come to today. Collective healing, NLA, coming to neuro linguistic alignment instead of programming, arriving to community with like minded people, restoring biodiversity in our bodies and minds is what we are here to be. I am looking forward to meeting you and supporting you in this wonderful challenge!
